First and foremost, please be prepared to show your new 2020 membership card when you attend activities at the Center so that you don't pay that pesky extra dollar. Remember to sign your first and last name when signing in for any activity. (We have lots of Marys and Georges and such!) Don't have your new card yet? Just stop by our Reception desk.
On page 3 of our January Newsletter, there's a brief write-up for a great train trip the Center is sponsoring. It includes round-trip airfare to Arizona, an escort to address any wishes or issues along the way, all hotel accommodations, sightseeing, some meals, and taxes & ground handling fees. I'll send a separate email that contains the registration form and more specific information about the itinerary.
-- On page 7, the AARP class notice should include "Please bring a bag lunch and a blank check (no cash or credit cards accepted)."
The Yard Sale (page 9) is open to the public, so please let your neighbors and friends know they can come turn their unwanted items into cash by participating. There is a link to the Vendor Registration form on our Activities page as well as in our Newsletter.
We also are starting up Saturday night dances again! Our first one will be on February 22 at 6:30-9:30 PM with DJ Rich Peraza. He has all genres, thousands of great pieces of music to make your evening a fun time whether you're dancing or just spending a night out, listening to wonderful tunes. Cost will be only $7/person and includes snacks & sodas (BYOB).
